How to make beef burger from scratch

Ingredients

300g of minced beef (preferably marbled)
2 Burger Bun
2 Caramelised Onions, sliced
Cherry tomatoes, sliced
Cheddar Cheese (Or cheese of your choice)
300g White Button Mushrooms, sliced and sauteed.







Step 1
Season minced beef with salt, pepper and soy sauce (to your liking).
Take half of the minced beef and shape it - you will get 2 equal-sized beef patty.
Thickness should be around 1cm.







Step 2
Heat the pan with oil on medium low heat.
Fry each side of the beef patty for 5 minutes.
Alternatively, with a food thermometer, beef should be cooked at around 70℃.







Step 3
Place cheese slice on top of the patty and pour a small portion of water around the cooking pan.
Cover the lid quickly to allow the cheese to melt through steaming.
Remove the lid once the cheese has melted to your desired texture.

Step 5
Toast the burger buns until your desired texture. Do spread some butter and toast it to achieve the crispy texture.

Step 6
Start assembling the burger by placing caramelised onions (click here for recipe) first.







Step 7
Followed by sliced cherry tomatoes







Step 8
Place the beef patty next with a dash of freshly grounded black pepper.







Step 9
Add the sauteed mushrooms








Plate it nicely and it's ready to serve!
