#03 Sentences Moms Say / Free Card Download

Everyone has different love language. They express love and receive love in their unique manner. The same theory applies to our Mother. Some show love explicitly by demanding hugs while some demand you to be home because it's late (but you're having so much fun outside). Thoughts like, "Why can't she understand that I need a little breather?" or "I'm old enough to take care of myself already please."
To our mothers, we just never grow old. I don't think I will ever adjust to it if my mum stops asking about my whereabouts. I've come to know and acknowledge that it was never about me showing how independent I am and therefore she can stop asking me about my location, or what time will I be home etc. The fact is, all mothers worry because they are mothers and we are their children. If a mother sets no boundary, I don't think I will know what love means. Because a lot of times, love means no, more than it means yes.

Humans give excuses, don't we? But what Mom wants is the truth.

When Mom shouts for you somewhere in the house and when you answer, silence followed suit as though she never called for you.

All in all, she's still the best we ever have.
We certainly do not deserve her kindness and love but we still receive them simply because she loves us.
