Cafes in three days
January 12, 2014I've been frequenting many cafes within the past week, having various meet ups with my favs.
So here is the list of cafes I've been to!
Grin Affair
3 Everton Road, #01-77A
Nearest MRT: Outram Park, take the exit from Circle Line.
Grin Affair offers a wide range of cakes in jars and I couldn't really quite make up my mind at first. Not until I caught sight of their Honey Lavender Cake. I've been craving for lavender flavoured food ever since I tasted Lavender Ice Cream in Hokkaido and this is the closest Lavender taste I've tasted thus far. A very unique taste to the tastebuds. I can't wait to get back to the place and get a few more jars of cake!
Selfish Gene
40 craig road, Singapore 089678
Nearest MRT Station: Outram Park
We only tried their cakes - Chocolate mud cake and Banana Cake.

The Provision Shop
3 Everton Park, #01-79
Nearest MRT: Outram Park, exit from Circle Line
Friendly staff serving us. I pretty much fell in love with their quiche.
It offers a different taste to our tastebuds compared to Carpenter's and Cooks one.
This cafe is located very near to Grin's Affair as well!

Cake Spade
1 Tras Link (Orchid Hotel)
Nearest MRT: Tanjong Pagar
A very very small cafe that serves awesome cakes.
I'm a cake lover and I am so in love with their Strawberry Tofu Cheesecake!
There's such a unique texture to the Tofu Cheesecake which makes it a must-try cake.
Ramen Keisuke Tori King
1 Tras Street, (A few shops away from Cake Spade)
Nearest MRT: Tanjong Pagar
Just like an Authentic Japanese ramen shop, it's ultra squeezy.
Awesome soup base and there's free flow of boiled eggs and seasoned bean sprouts. A bowl costs around $10+.

SPR.MRKT
2 McCallum Street
Nearest MRT: Tanjong Pagar
You have to try their Egg's Benedict. It's the best egg's benedict I've ever tasted!
Great ambience except during lunch where all the working adults in CBD area starts coming in.
Other than that, it'll be a wonderful place to chill with a book and a cuppa coffee or tea.

Cups N Canvas
139 Selegie Road
Nearest MRT: Dhoby Ghaut
Must-try drink: Cucumber Mint!
There's such a pleasant twist to the drink that ignited fireworks in my mouth. Oh how I love this cup of drink.

Food For Thought @ 8Q
8 Queen Street, Singapore Art Museum
Nearest MRT: Bras Basah
I've been there a few times and I would say generally, the food kinda got worse.

Cafe hopped a lot and all the cafes I've been to did not disappoint me, except FFT @ 8Q.
I hope this list will help you all with finding the cafes.
Cheers to more cafe-visiting days!
