Hall Life / Exams / Updates
December 03, 2013I stayed over in school to study for exams for the past 2 weeks, only making two trips home over the two weeks, and I really find that having a hall in University helps a lot especially when exams are nearing. Most people would study till wee hours and by the time we want to go home, it's really troublesome. Staying in hall gives us a lot of time to be with our friends. It's normal to have productive and not-so-productive study session. We went high and crazy when we were all tired from studying. It's just all so fun. So here are the pictures I've taken while I stayed over in school for almost 2 weeks.
Just another day in school when the after-rain scent was pretty strong.
We had some fun trying to further slice our already sliced watermelons with our feeble toothpicks.
Yes, you can call this my staple food - All time favourite Yong Tau Foo from Canteen 2.
This is the right way to get your friends to help you with your Yong Tau Foo order when they have to pack it back for you.
We spent a few nights studying overnight in ADM. It was the first time that I had a whole day of activities and then we all started studying only at 12am till 6am. Red Bull works pretty well for me I guess. The subsequent days, we stayed up till ungodly hours for revision, then tried to get ourselves up early just to get seats in school.
Just two weeks ago, had the chance to take a breather and head out for Pepper Lunch after my driving lesson.
This waffle ice-cream from NTU Canteen 2 is worth your every cent and every calorie gain.
One of the few best things we can ever ask for in school.
$2 for this waffle that comes with 3 scoops of ice cream.
There's no mega sale or anything going on.
We're just students queueing up to get into the school's library before 8.30am so that we can chope good seats to study till the library closes - 11.30pm.
After chope-ing seats, we had 2 kaya toasts, 2 overly-boiled eggs and a cup of Teh/Kopi each for $1.60
When you're all stressed up and when food is all you can think of..........
We have all been surviving one very unhealthy diet - Macs almost every meal and a couple of days with Instant noodle for supper.
One good meal at home before I start another week of crazy studying.

Our study cycle isn't sustainable at all but we survived it. I've never tried going for exams with less than 6 hours of sleep but this time round, with around 4 to 5 hours of sleep, I'm up and (forced to be) ready for exam. I wouldn't have done it without Jesus. He who has guided me to study what I need to know and gave me so much rest that I don't even feel any anxiety the night before every single paper. Thank You for making everything so much easier for me. Thank You for always placing me at the right place and at the right time. Thank You Jesus :)
As of now......
SCHOOL'S OUT!
My finals is finally over today and I just came back from a round of crazy fun.
IKEA for lunch > Cab > Sing K @ Katong till 10pm > Cab > Dinner @ 126 Geylang Dimsum and immediately had supper @ Lor 9 Beef Hor Fun + Frog Porridge > Cab > School
Singing K with uni friends is ultimately the best. We laughed so hard, went crazy, sang till we had sore throat despite feeling really worn out from the papers we sat for the past few days.
There'll be more updates soon!
