My first bouquet of Hydrangea given to me weeks before Valentine's.

I've been thinking a lot about life over the year. I have been trying to picture the kind of life I want in future. Things like my career, my life goals and what I want to achieve in 5 years time or by 2016. Sometimes, I have so many things in mind I want to achieve, I start weighing them and I come out with zero outcome. On the other hand, there were times I just went ahead with my ideas and now I'm waiting for the results. I'm trying to change, reinvent and enhance whatever I'm heading for. I want them to be different but I find that I am conforming as well. I felt as though I lack knowledge in this area.

Sometimes I think that it is absolutely all right to be in this position where I am still studying and thus I have little time to juggle with the things I want to achieve. But when I see successful people on my Instagram feed, pursuing what they want and more importantly, they are students as well, I will ask myself, "If they can, why can't I?". It just doesn't make sense that when people are able to achieve things, and I'm not able to when we are all students. Is it about time management? Or is it about skills? Is it about how they have all once struggled, like I am right now, but decided to follow what their heart tells them to?

That I have no idea.

These few years, I haven't been spending much time blogging because every semester was a crazy semester where most of us were engulfed by assignments, quizzes, project works, and more crazy math equations and logics to prove our worth when we sit for our Finals. I do miss pouring out my thoughts and spamming this space with my pictures. I just cannot find the time to commit in writing a good piece of blog with good pictures. Most of my blog posts were crafted months and months ago but I never once hit 'Publish' because I never got the time to write. So today, I decided to write in one of my least jampack week of the Semester.

Birthday Favours - finally done with writing 50 odd names on the tags together and bundling them with the bottle openers.

What I've been up to for the past few months of 2015
-

1. Overloaded my AUs with 6 modules inclusive of 2 modules that are worth 4 AUs each for this Sem.
2. I spend most of my Tuesday nights crafting my Art pieces for Wednesdays' lessons. Every single piece was extremely time consuming but the outcome were definitely rewarding.
3. Planning my 21st Birthday as early as January and sourcing for ideas on Pinterest because I was aware that I will not have the time to plan once the school Semester starts getting busy.
4. Helping my little cousins with their studies and trying to help myself with my studies.
5. Rushing mini projects like using Java and HTML codings to set up an online shop, and creating shooting games using Unity.
6. No. 5 takes up a great deal of time (working day and night and overnight) and they suck you dry before the deadline even approaches.
7. Looking for universities in Europe where they accept Fee-Paying student for Exchange but I ended up only applying for Taiwan.
8. I have quizzes on almost every other week right after our Recess week + sourcing for Birthday decorations have already started + looking for Fee-paying Exchange University which is so much of a hassle and somehow all three of these drove me nuts at certain points but I still went ahead with my initial ideas at full steam.
9. Taking time out to tailor make my dress at my Aunt's shop and searching for more craft work for my Birthday, as though I have all the time on Earth to do so.
10. Attended my friend's Hall production at Esplanade, which was a really cool act. Kudos to the time and effort they put in for the production.

Thank God for Family because they helped me a lot in this preparation period. My dad finally allowed me to take the car out on my own after I drove into Malaysia during Chinese New Year period this year. (I have proved my worth in driving, phew!) I get to drive to school and back home, which saved me a lot of travelling time. My Sister has been helping me with assembling the backdrop. My Mum has been sourcing for the most presentable buffet table, of which I am not very concern but still thankful that she's heading it.

Marc by Marc Jacobs Earring was my first 21st Birthday Present I got from my Sister at the very very beginning of the year.

I am quite excited for my Birthday though I only have a vague idea of how my venue would look like. I am still a little worried about my dessert table's presentation and how I should make the whole event a smooth one. This is especially important especially when it comes to Photobooth area where it may become messy and I may miss out some people. Ideas and inspiration can be found anywhere but trying to pick the right ones for the celebration is the problem I face daily. After this Wednesday, I will be free from quizzes (for a few days) and I can start going around to get my Birthday supplies.

I've been wanting to try Skin Inc's product because I have seen good reviews and results on people but I'm still a little skeptical on how it would actually help me to solve my skin issues. I not only have oily skin but a pimple-prone skin. They all start appearing when the time of the month approaches and my skin become very dull. One fine day, Luxola sent a newsletter where we will get a small bottle of free customised sample serum from Skin Inc at their pop-up store. So I headed down and collected my bottle which will help with the inflammation of the pimples on my skin.

My skin condition kind of follows a cycle which I took notice of a year ago.

1. Menstruation
Two weeks prior to the time of the month, the little pimples will start surfacing around my face, mostly on sides and lower part of my jaw. During menstruation period, they will start to subside a little but new pimples will appear.  My skin only starts to clear 1 week after menstruation and that's considered my best complexion of the month. It'll last for a week before the cycle starts all over again. Really gotta thank Jesus for makeup products that at least covers up the flaws on my skin and give me temporal happiness. I am still comfortable going to school without any makeup because I do want my skin to breathe. But it just kinda suck to have scars on my face when I look into the mirror. Really want all the spots to clear as well.

2. Stress
My skin complexion peaks when I am having my holidays after the semester ends. So a good guess would be that my bad skin condition is attributed by sleeping late at night, stress in school and perhaps 24/7 stress factor as long as school term doesn't end. Most ladies would agree with me about this. The skin just gets duller when Finals draw near. I still can live with that.

3. Food
One of my favourite snack would be chocolate. I love chocolates because they really make me happy. But the after effect upsets me because too much of them will cause pimples to surface. The sad moment when you cannot fully indulge in your favourite food. It's okay, I can take this chance to shed some weight.

Skin Inc Licorice Serum (free sample) lasted me a good 4 days but I could already see visible effect on my skin! The inflammation were lesser and my skin became more dewy. I absolutely love this product and I guess I'm going to use their product once everything starts to settle and when I have the spare cash to get my customised blend. I'm so so so in need of a healthier and smoother skin complexion. I've been to Joyce Lim's clinic at Paragon before for a year and it did solve my skin problem but it only lasted for a while.

I have more photos with me but I will post them up next time. The next post will be my Birthday post and then I will have to start to concentrate on my Finals which will end early May! Super excited for it to end because freedom is finally coming!

I'm ending this post with a few of my favourite Instagram posts. I have dyed my hair color to reddish-orange right before Chinese New Year! A colour I've been wanting to have since secondary school years, but never had the courage to have them. Now that I have it, I wish the color didn't wear off so easily. It's time to return to my tutorials after crafting this lengthy post.

Have a fantabulous weekend ahead readers x
