After months of researching, weeks of preparation and final few days of extra crazy work, the day finally came. I held this birthday with a heavy heart because I've been mourning for the loss of our Founding Father Mr. Lee Kuan Yew. Moreover my bunny went for emergency clinical visit the night before the because his left eye was red and his ear appears to have blood fluid. Too many things happened in the week of preparation, not just for Birthday but for quizzes and our time-consuming art module. Anyhooos, Praise the Lord that I've survived them all and everything went smoothly for the party!

Peter Rabbit 2-Tier Cake from Cupplets. I have always wanted to get cake and tarts from Cupplets. The cake costed me $280. It's expensive for a Birthday Cake but I really really want to have Cupplets's cake and tarts and have my own customised dessert table. Somewhat, you can say that it's my 'dream' to design a dessert table. Thank God my mum chose pink tablecloth for me. It turned out so well!

I always thought that tarts and desserts prices will be steep until I check them out on their website and found out that the prices are pretty reasonable. By then it was too late to order anything from them since I have already confirmed my orders from Cupplets. Nevertheless I felt that the desserts will not be enough for my guests so I got my last minute tarts order and Li Ting personally went down to JEM to collect on my behalf. Extremely grateful for helpful friends!

Before you all go any further into this page, I sincerely want to thank you all for choosing me to be your friend and then blessing me with the friendship we have. I couldn't have asked for more than for supportive friends in life, areas where my parents may be slightly out of touch (like homework, schoolwork and all). Thank you friends for coming into my life and celebrating it on this day. Most of the time, each and everyone of you have impacted me positively in my life in a personal way.

Jing En, you've been the most mature friend I have since Secondary school times. It was really a blessing in disguise that after all that has happened to me before meeting the 3 of you, I actually get genuine friends who cares and shares thoughts. We grew together, only becoming more and more mature, sharing the same kind of problems in almost every area of our lives. You've been an extraordinary friend, a friend that I couldn't have ever asked God for. I am extremely thankful for you. Thank you for all the sweet things you have done for me and all the encouragements you have given me since the day we met.

Stella, you have always been the quite innocent one in our group. I'm extremely grateful for you because your innocence sometimes will bring a lot of laughter to us. Both Jingen and I will always always be your listening ear. 24/7 anytime you need us, we'll be there. Thank you for the wonderful memories we had in Secondary school day when we can eat for 2 hours at Pepper Lunch and walk the long stretch of road under the hot sun for 30 min (when people usually take 5 min). Thank you for the positivity you have given to me because of your laughter.

Joanna, you've been constant source of joy since Secondary school. Crazy girl who never seem to be able to grow up but looking at you right now, you have actually grown more mature. Thank you for your attentiveness when we talk about our problems and always wanting to find ways to solve problems for us. Thank you for being a considerate being towards us. The four of us really need to find more time to gather together.

Siting, I am eternally grateful to have you in the same class as me from Secondary school, all the way to JC. I've always liked the witty side of you. It's something that I lack and I see it a lot in you. Doing things the smart way and solving problems in the easiest way. Thank you for coming down early to help out and driving us out when we all have no transport. Thank you for being the happy one though I know you have your own set of problems too. Love it when you open up to me. Thank you for wanting me as a friend.

Jiaying,  your positivity and your joyous character really draws me to you. Your real-ness and your hardworking mentality always made me look up to you. You've been nothing short of greatness. Although we always laugh at your pronunciation, thank you for not getting super angry with us and allow us to continue to bully you that way (hahaha typing this with zero sense remorse).

Li Ting, I cannot emphasise enough how irritating the both of us can get at times when we get together. Life's a twist. I thought you were an Ah Lian in JC and you thought I was super noisy cause I screamed into your face during one of the games in orientation camp, and we ended up being friends because we were in the same class. I love this kind of twist though. It's a happy twist with happy ending. Thank you for the times you have accompanied me in JC and continued to ask me out after JC (because I don't ask friends out unless they initiate). Thank you for letting me know that you want me as a friend in a personal way. And did I not mention that I love receiving your New Year cards!

Kristine, you are really the laoyabeef. You actually turned out late for my Birthday! Hahaha, you are forgiven. Thank you for your patience in teaching me during my secondary school times and JC times. You've been extremely patient towards me, to the point sometimes I feel that even I would be irritated by myself, but you still continue to teach me. It hurts me to see how hurt you are but at that point in time, I can't help much except to offer you my shoulder. In all, I still want to thank you, Beef. You're my favourite Cow, forever more.

Clarice, I can't even begin to describe how you've been another plot twist in my life. From enemies in kindergarten, to ignoring each other's existence in Primary Sch even though you're just beside my class and to getting into the same class in Secondary Sch where we became great friends together. Your conscientiousness in your work sometimes shames me because I really wish I was half as meticulous as you were. Thank you for forgetting everything that has happened in Kindergarten (hahaha) and focusing only on the current friendship. Thank you for always viewing me as your daughter and always wanna match make me with your desired 'son-in-law' (You know we know who it is teehee)

Kenny, after working with you with a few projects since University, and the times we all spent together as a group, you've become one of those friends that I deem important. I've seen how hardworking you were, to the point you can't even eat because of stress. I've always looked up to you because of your hardworking trait. You've been a positive influence in my life because sometimes the things you say really cracks me up. I guess it's also because sometimes the both of us share the same thoughts so we kind of click well. Thank you for being a responsible person who takes initiatives. Thank you for this birthday venue and thank you for you help. We have more projects to do together in due time (hahaha, let's clear DIP first).

Shermaine, thank you for always showering me with Daddy God's words when I needed them. Thank you for the times when you make ridiculously funny remarks that sends me laughing so hard that I was literally gasping for air. Thank God that you appeared in my life and pump up the positivity bar. Please continue to be crazy and speak in mandarin because I really like the funny accent that you have. It makes you very Shermaine (hahahaha)!

Zhi Xiang, thank you for all the times you have tolerated my nonsense since JC. Thank you for being a great PW mate. Your positivity and ability to talk nonsense cracks me up all the time. I guess it's in recent time that we exchanged more texts and it's really great to know that I do have a friend who's somewhat like me, an Opportunist, and has lots of crazy business ideas. You're a Realist too and I kinda need to cultivate this side of me. The things you'll do just to look for tutee near your vicinity also amuses me because I never never thought anyone would do that at all (hahahaha really sends me laughing but it was definitely a good and creative thing to do). The nonsensical part of you, sometimes makes me go speechless but other times laugh real hard. You've showed me otherwise of the stereotypes I used to have on people. You were the different one. Because of this, I look up to you. You've been real. Thank you.

11S24 girls, incomplete because Hui Bin and Jolene were not present but this post is still dedicated to all of you. Thank you so much for the love you all have been pouring on me. Thank you for the concern you all have for me in JC times. Thank you for always been cheerful and laughing at almost anything. Thank you for being serious when you all have to be serious. I really adore you all because you all are one of the few groups of girls I've seen that can coexist without much problems. A class of girls and a few boys but we are still united as one. 11S24 guys, you guys really make S24 complete. Thank you for always having full attendance at the birthday parties! Thank you for the joy you all have brought in JC. Thank you for the fun times we had in PE, playing frisbee against the girls. Especially when all of you towers over the girls in our class and still continued to throw the frisbee so high that none of us can catch. But then again, thank you for giving in to all of us. You guys are the best!

Thank you guys, for your existence (inclusive of Jayden). My University life is way more vibrant with your existence. All the insane stuff we do over the past few semesters were truly insane. Our supper together, going to Geylang, staying overnight to study until 6am at ADM, being Student Attach for Orientation camp together and going crazy altogether, and many many countless insane things we have done, which we shall not expose them here. Each semester gets tougher and tougher and we shall survive them all, even if we are gonna be in different countries for the next few sems if all goes well. Thank you all, for being my friend.

My beloved CG mates, thank you so much for always welcoming me though I've been very inconsistent in attending church and CG. My Nanny (from 1yo-2yo approx.) aka Godmother

I doubt she will ever come to know this webpage but I have always been showered with love by her. She doesn't dote me to the point of spoiling me but doting me like how a good mother would. She will scold me when I misbehave but will reward me appropriately. In recent years, I come to realise that she's ageing and she needs someone to share her thoughts with. Sometimes I hope I can spare her my time but University schedule is way too pack for any of these to take place appropriately. I wish her all the happiness on Earth. She enjoys shopping time with me everytime I ask her out. May I have more time to bring her out after this Semester ends.



To the family that I was born into, thank you so much for the guidance and love you all have given to me, unconditionally. When I was younger, I always thought everyone was born into a happy family because I grew up in one. Now when reality starts surfacing, I begin to realise how blessed I was to be born into a happy family although a lot of times I feel I've been growing up with pressure because I'm constantly not good enough in my own eyes, to become who you all want me to be. You all never really asked me to be more than what I can be but I always wanted to prove to myself that I have more than what it takes to be so much more that what I think I can achieve.

I know I've been more than irritating most of the time, sometimes too stubborn for your liking, sometimes too naive that I got you all worried but I've learnt most of the things the hard way because you all wanted me to be the best that I can be.

Thank you for always feeding me with morales on how I should never take cleaners for granted because we are all humans and it is only right that humans help humans. Thank you for teaching me to be thankful and appreciative. Thank you for teaching me to greet everyone before eating. Thank you for teaching me mannerism. Thank you for giving in to my demands. I know how interesting our family is because each of us has 大男人主义. We all have our own views and sometimes we refuse to listen to one another, that's when things start to get interesting. Still, we're a super happy family. You all gave me verbal space to voice out my views and never once shut me out. This really helped me in building my confidence which slowly developed my public speaking ability and the confidence I have in me.

I want to thank my dad specially for pushing me into JC to develop the critical thinking part of my mind because he felt I lack in it a lot but he always believed that I can make it to JC and eventually entering local University. My dad has taught me a lot. He's like a walking encyclopedia, he knows almost everything under the sun. Jack of all trades but still masters of many. What a blessing to have such a capable father.



The-'1'-is-out-of-place look

I want to thank my sister for always showering me with love and abundance of tolerance. I know being a 大姐 is not easy, and this is especially so in our family because of the high expectations Daddy and Mummy sets for us. (Why do you have to set the benchmark so high?) Anyhows, thank you for loving me as a sister and always showering me with presents. Your love has taught me to love others well. It's important for siblings to love one another because it will complete the other side of you emotionally and spiritually. So true that we will love people because we have much to give. Thank you for being playful with me and going crazy with me. Just in case you haven't realise, I picked up a lot of critical thinking skills from you because you're always so smart and you have all the traits to be a greater leader. Don't worry, with Jesus, in no time you'll be where you envision yourself to be. You shall be the most capable person in our family! (Until I graduate then I will take over you hahahahahahahaha)!



To my mum, the worrywart of the family. I don't understand how you can be so cheerful all the time and how you always manage to keep things together emotionally. You must have had an enormous bottle inside you to house your emotions. Thank God, we have all grown up and we can share your woes and worries, though most of the time we would be ticking you off about how ridiculous your worries were. I am more than blessed to be your daughter. Thank God that now you have God, you have an outlet to let those emotions out when it's difficult to speak to your children about the situation you're caught in. You've been nothing short of being an extraordinary mother that constantly encourages and even loves to talk rubbish with us. Sorry for the times I've hurt you, intentionally and unintentionally. I know you love to disturb me but at the same time I'm the one you worry the most. Not that I have anything for you to worry but you just like worrying for me because that's a mother's nature. Thank you for always being smiley and staying young at heart. Your faith on Jesus is something I look up upon because it is so genuine.



Thank you for having me on this very special day, 21 years ago. I don't think you have ever imagined what your daughter will become 21 years later. Yeh, I'm still pretty much me. Crazy, irritating at times, annoying, always speaking up on matters and most importantly, an ever growing child of yours. I will always always need your guidance, your lessons, your support, your love at no matter what age I become. 21, 31, 41, 51, I will still need you all. Please don't treat me as an adult, yet.
